PROJECT SUMMARY: This project started because the original wood siding was rotting and not holding paint any longer. There was some concern about some rot under the siding and that proved to be the case on the right corner. The front porch posts were also hollow which was a surprise. The customer was concerned about keeping the original details of the house which included the trim and the front entry shiplap siding, which was not problem. The customer was very happy with the outcome and the peace of mind that there is no maintenance for them to complete. We used James Hardie shiplap siding in the front porch area and pvc moldings to complete the detailed look.
